The goal in shamanic healing is wholeness.
In the shamanic world, it is believed that all illness and dis-ease begins in the spiritual realm. Although healing is needed on all levels (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) the shaman or shamanic practitioner works in the spiritual realm to facilitate healing. The shaman or practitioner does not heal, she works with her spirit and animal guides to help the client. Spirit is the only healer.

Bio:
Lynn, a member of the Spirit Moon Community and the Society of Shamanic Practitioners, is shamanic practitioner in the Dallas, TX area. Lynn has studied with shamanic teachers Kristin Madden (New Mexico - www.kristinmadden.com) and Lyn Birmingham (Dallas, TX - www.spiritmoon.net). Lynn recently completed the Foundation for Shamanic Studies "The Way of the Shaman" training with Sandra Ingerman(www.sandraingerman.com). She also has studied with healing practitioners and teachers Connie Henry ND, CPH, RN, and Digby Henry in New Mexico through Ardantane's School of Healing Arts (www.ardantane.org), as well as Reiki Master Jennifer Walz, L.Ac. (Dallas, TX).
